A Little Gifting

I recently finished some gifts that are on the verge of being out of season, but since we had the tiniest bit of snow flurries last Saturday, I’m going to ride the crest of blaming the weather.

We gave these socks to my daughter’s second grade teacher. They are a basic 2×2 rib, and I love the way the color blends.

I also finished a hat for my Massage gal.  She loves hats, so we sometimes trade services.  It’s a win-win situation, though sometimes I think I benefit more!

Today I’m going to piece together 42 blocks for a quilt I’m making for a young girl at my church.  It’s very scrappy as I seriously worked through my stash of blues.

I’m also going to start processing these fabrics for a summer table runner.

I love Mondays…It’s the day I get the whole place to myself after a weekend of noisiness.

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
