Autumn and Hats

It’s autumn, and I love it.  The trees here in Northern Wisconsin are shifting to their brilliant jewel tones, and it makes me glad I live where I do.  I went for a walk today.

I also finished a couple hats today.  These are for sale at my friend’s shop.

I also joined StashPact Flickr group in which I vow to use up my stash – both yarn and fabric.  The only lee way I’m giving myself fabric-wise is solid colors to finish projects, as well as possible backing or binding for any quilts.

I need to make this committment; I’m pretty sure I have enough yarn to keep me busy for a year.  Perhaps I’ll post some pics of the yarn stash and we can all watch it dwindle….erm, that sounds fun to me at least!!

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
