30-Day Challenge

So, I’ve been doing the 30-day photo challenges since February, and now I’m venturing into the 30-day challenge of daily blogging.

And I’m not quite sure how I feel about it.  Part of me is looking forward to it because it will be my motivator to keep up the momentum of plowing through the projects around here.  The opposite part of me worries that I’ll run out of ideas promptly after the first week or that I’ll come off as vain (I’ve been reading a fashion blog and it SCREAMS  vanity and narcissism; hence my caution).

It’s all a big experiment.

Here’s a recently finished, extremely easy pillow I made for the deck (not on deck presently as it’s raining outside):

And this is what I’m going to be working on today as we’re traveling a couple hours away to see a puppy (not getting her today as she’s too young):

I find embroidering in the car to be extremely lovely and zenlike.  Thankfully Husband is content driving most of the time!

So, no guarantees that this experiment is going to be fascinating every day.  Trust me, there will be some Wordless Wednesday and LOTS of pictures of projects in process.

See you tomorrow….

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
