Monogrammed Babes

Everytime I hear there’s a new baby coming, I immediately think of what I can make.

Here’s what I made for a trio of births about a year ago (births=a year ago, sweaters finished last week!).

It just so happened that the letters lined up alphabetically.  Here are the recipients of the F and H – cousins Henry and Finn.  The “G” is for Gavin, the son of a friend.  Please overlook the mismatched new knits with the space jammies; naptime was close at hand.

I’m hoping to put up a partial tutorial on inserting the letters, but that will be another day.  Until then, the yarn is Berroco Vintage DK.

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
