Back to work

All righty, my vacation is over, so that means it’s officially time to begin working on that “monkey-on-my-back” project that has been twirling around in my head for something like ten years.  It’s a writing project, and I am dedicated to spending a couple hours every day on it, which means that it will cut into my crafting time, though I’m more determined than ever to find a balance in the upcoming months (in more ways than just writing and crafting).

Anyhoo, here is the first project I finished in 2012.  It’s Amy Butler’s Uptown bag.  I like it, though the bummer is that it gets a little limp if the contents get a little heavy.

I made it to go with this, though it’s not quite done, so the official picture is a few days off.

Have a happy Tuesday.

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
