It’s been, well, a bad autumn.  However, I am hopeful that things are on the mend permanently in my world, so I’ll leave it at that.

Meanwhile, to keep my sanity in the past few months, I’ve been spending somewhat impulsively, and here’s what arrived in yesterday’s mail:

On Cyber Monday, Harts Fabric had a doozy of a sale, so it was easy to buy the Crepe pattern and the Violet pattern.  Crepe will be shelved until spring and until the right fabric comes along.  I might get started on Violet in that chartreuse silk in the picture right after the New Year.

I’m extra excited to see if all the buzz about Colette patterns is true.  But more so, I’m just excited to start sewing again as I really haven’t had much time to do anything but knit.

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
