Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day was pretty low key around here, and that was fine by me (except that I was feeling a degree of guilt for not getting something in the mail for my mom and for forgetting my nephew’s birthday was yesterday too – ack).

This is what my 8-year-old son made for me:

A tinfoil, toothpick-breathing dragon that needs a little help standing up.  He presented it to me while I was sewing yesterday, so there’s a wee peek at the upcoming pinks.

About lionsdaughter

I like to make things, lots of things, but not all things. I love to sew, knit, embroider, take pictures, scrapbook, dye fibers, work clay in the summer, garden. I want to try weaving, spinning, and stain glass work. I have no interest in auto body, upholstery, or tanning (either working animal skin or purposefully darkening my own).
